The family of Caroline Barbara Fontaine of Lafond, Alberta regretfully announces that their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister returned to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the age of 59 years.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories is Caroline's husband of 10 years: Raymond Fontaine of Lafond, AB; children: Justin Zuk of Saskatoon SK, Racheal Zuk of Hinton, AB; step-children: Earl Fontaine of Edmonton, AB, Ariana (Micheal) Kratzmann of Edmonton, AB, Adreinne (Jonathan) Muller of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren: Joshua, Savannah & Noah Zuk, Nyxon Wilson; mother & step-father: Erika & Herman Dittrich of Fort Vermilion, AB; brothers & sisters: Robert Kyler of Campbell River, B.C., Gordon (Laurelle) Kyler of Sundre, AB, Cassie Allen Rantapaa of Deadwood, South Dakota, Jennifer Allen of Red Deer, AB, Melissa Dittrich of Cochrane, AB, Aaron (Elizabeth) Dittrich of Cochrane, AB, Nadine Allen of Vancouver, B.C.; brothers & sisters-in-law: Tony (Alice) Fontaine of St. Paul, AB, Irene (Bill) Stolarchuck of Edmonton, AB, Roland  (Polly Anna) Fontaine of St. Paul, AB, Juliette Tremblay of St. Paul, AB, Marcel (Shirley) Fontaine of St. Paul, AB, Marie (Ray) Wirsta of Edmonton, AB, Paulette Hornby of Lethbridge, AB, Bernie Fontaine (Arlene Urban) of Lac La Biche, AB, Denis Fontaine of Edmonton, AB; beloved dog: Sophie; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Caroline was predeceased by her son: Caleb Zuk; brothers & sister-in-law: Carol (Victor) Fontaine, Norbert Fontaine, Alphonse Tremblay; auntie: Rita Halwag.

Funeral Service, Monday, March 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., Alliance Church, St. Paul, Alberta with Pastor Timothy Dekker officiating, eulogy by Aaron Dittrich. Pallbearers: Justin Zuk, Aaron Dittrich, Adrien Jaques, Albert Jaques, Bernie Fontaine, Marie Wirsta. Honorary Pallbearers: Blair Boster, Earl Fontaine, Rick Cassell. Final Resting Place, Union Cemetery, St. Paul, Alberta.
