Heidi Marie Rose (Knoll)
Heidi was born in Bietigheim, Germany to Gertrud Knoll and Georg Straub. She later immigrated to Canada with her mother in 1951.
She is survived by her husband Cliff and daughters, Karrie, Jackie (Darcy), Natalie (Rick) and Jennifer (Joe). Her grandchildren, Andrew, Cliff, Charla, Brittany and Jo-ie, plus all her fur grandbabies. Great grandchildren, Jacob and Hailey. She will also be missed by her extended family in Germany and many friends.
Mom was definitely not a proper lady. She once told me it wasn't an insult to be called a broad. "Broads have way more fun anyway", she said. She hated shopping and going for tea. Her favorite things were of course us, football, beer and curling. Not necessarily in that order. Her way of relaxing was to put her feet up, have a beer , watch her beloved Riders and ring her cowbell. Surprisingly we can still hear!
Mom, you will be missed by many. Rest peacefully in your new home. See you one day.
