We met Bill and Jean many years ago when they were good friends with our parents Paul and Stella Lasecki. Bill and our father Paul were among a varied group of retired gentlemen, mostly farmers, who met for coffee regularly at the A&W, or as they called it, the “house of knowledge.”. They would discuss town and country events and share their solutions to the problems of the day. For many years before the A&W, their meeting place was the window bench at the front of Brosseau’s Store. These men were the “salt of the earth,” honest and hardworking, always up for a laugh. Jean, we think that probably the “house of knowledge” is continuing now in heaven amongst our beloved gents. We send our condolences to you and all the family in your loss of husband, father, grandfather and friend. Love and hugs from Bill and Myrna Lasecki

Our sincere condolences to Jean and family. Have many happy memories of Bill way back at the old farm days. Bill was a frequent visitor to our farm for playing card games in the winter and singing many Ukrainain songs, including Ukrainain Christmas carols. Vichnaya Pamyat (memories eternal).
