The family of Floyd Bruce of Calgary, Alberta formerly of Bonnyville announces his passing on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the age of 80 years.
Floyd will be forever remembered by his wife: Bernice Bruce of 31 years; his children: Lila (Bruce) Gault, Holly Bruce, Brent Bruce, Stacy Bruce; step-son: Cameron (Eileen) Harvie; two step-daughters: Rhonda Harvie, Robyn (Rick) Reddecliff; daughter-in-law: Patti Fitzpatrick; grandchildren: Erik Gault, Teddi Poworoznik, Marley Paterson, Tanner Eefting, Megan Bruce, Kayla Bruce, Levie Bruce, Rilee Bruce; great grandchildren: Kire Gault, Arkael Gault, Elias Sholter, Harvie Porozonik, Chancis Rainne; fourteen step-grandchildren; twelve step-great grandchildren; five brothers: Alfred Fleming, William (Bill) Fleming, John Bruce, Robert Bruce, Larry Bruce; sister: Bea Weir; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
Floyd was predeceased by his parents: Harry & Esther Bruce; four sisters: Ruth Simmons, Marion Baatz, Dolly May, Alice Bruce; brother: Leonard Bruce; two step-sons: Curtis Harvie in 2001, Rodney Harvie in 2014.
Private Family Funeral Service will be held at Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, AB.
Pallbearers: Robert Cormier, Reagan Shmyr, Erik Gault, Dave Weir, Cameron Harvie, Rick Reddecliff.
Final resting place, St. John’s United Church Cemetery, Bonnyville, AB. All friends and family invited to the graveside at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Stephen Sparks officiating.
