It is with profound sadness that the family of Marion “Ruth” Robinson of Cold Lake, Alberta (formerly of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) announce her passing on January 13, 2020 at the age of 76 years.
Ruth will be forever loved and remembered by her two daughters, Kimberly (Shane) Lokszyn of Cold Lake, Alberta, and Kerri Robinson (Jess Robinson Lychak) of Calgary, Alberta; step granddaughter Bryce Lokszyn and step grandson Ethan Lokszyn; grandpuppies Enzo Lokszyn, Dexter Robinson and Zoe Robinson Lychak; and special kitty companion Taz, who misses her dearly. As well, she is survived by her sister Joyce Taber of Wainwright, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews; and was especially close with her niece Deb Myers of Saskatoon.
Since moving to Alberta in 2014 Ruth had become everyone’s honorary granny and will be greatly missed by her “extended”, chosen family; to name but a few, all of the Mullaneys, whom she loved and cherished deeply; Lea and BeauBeau; Jillian and Emmy; and long-time friends Hannah Carswell and Daisy Adamson.
Ruth was predeceased by her parents, William and Lillian Robinson, and by five sisters and one brother. A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will take place at a later date.
Memorial tributes in memory of Ruth may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society, #201 9452-51 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6E5A6.
