It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Kalinski announces his passing at home in Quesnel, BC, surrounded by his family on the 26th day of November, 2019 after a lengthy yet courageous battle with prostate cancer at the age of 80 years.
Paul will be forever remembered and loved by his wife of 56 years, Maxine Kalinski: mother-in-law; Helen Williams of Quesnel, BC: children; Gregory Kalinski of Dawson Creek, BC, Teresa (Brad) Howes of Calgary, AB: grandchildren; Tanner Kalinski of Dawson Creek, BC, Ashleigh & Kenn Gregory of Edmonton, AB, Kenn Gregory of Edmonton, AB: great granddaughter; Emily Gregory of Edmonton, AB: brothers; Stefan Kalinski of Bonnyville, AB, John Kalinski of Bonnyville, AB, Nick Kalinski of Bonnyville, AB, Edward Kalinski of Bonnyville, AB.
Paul was predeceased by his parents; Moses & Martuna Kalinski: brother; Alexander Kalinsky.
Paul was born at home in Iron River, Alberta where he was educated in a rural one room school house then went on to attend the Agricultural Collage in Vermilion, (now known as Lakeland College). Paul obtained a Red Seal certification as a Millwright in Quesnel, BC. Paul and his wife Maxine married in Lacombe, Alberta. Paul and Maxine moved to BC, in 1978 where Paul was employed at the CanFor Sawmill until retiring in 2003.
Funeral service was held on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Northstar Fellowship Baptist Church, Quesnel, BC.
In following Paul`s request, a graveside service will take place on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. where Paul will be buried alongside other family members at the Sandy Rapids Pentecostal Cemetery.
