It is with heavy hearts that the family of Helen Kruhlak announces her passing on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Bonnyville, Alberta at the age of 97 years.
Helen will be forever loved and remembered by her five children: Tom Kruhlak of Bonnyville, AB, Orest Kruhlak of Bonnyville, AB, Jack (Elaine) Kruhlak of Iron River, AB, John (Linda) Kruhlak of Boyle, AB, Martie (Don) Wilk of St. Paul, AB; son-in-law: Steve Fedchuk of Edmonton, AB; seven grandchildren: Linda (Don) Lega of Redwater, AB, Brenda Sjostrom of Barrhead, AB, Sandra (Mike) Wetzstein of Edmonton, AB, Irene Forsyth of Bonnyville, AB, Brian (Dawn) Kruhlak of Bonnyville, AB, Barb (Brad) Hurtubise of Bonnyville, AB, Trisha Campbell of St. Paul, AB; twelve great-grandchildren: Amanda & Rebecca Sjostrom, Dustin & Chad Lega, Savanna Forsyth, Tristen Kruhlak, Jesse Kruhlak, Gavin & Conner Campbell, Kale Forsyth, Kiley Hurtubise , Rebecca Hurtubise; granddaughter-in-law: Kim Kruhlak; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
Helen was predeceased by her husband: Steve Kruhlak in 2000; two daughters: Doris Kruhlak in 1954, Anne Fedchuk in 2011; daughter-in-law: Rita Kruhlak in 2015; grandson: Bradley Kruhlak in 2012; parents: Zachariah & Anna Antoniuk; three sisters: Alexandra Galiwoda, Mastrona Karasiuk, Mary Chmiel.
Visitation, Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m, Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, AB. Funeral service, Monday, February 25, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elias Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Pallbearers: Don Wilk, Brian Kruhlak, Dustin Lega, Chad Lega, Brad Hurtubise, Don Lega. Cross Bearer: Jesse Kruhlak. Final resting place, St. Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Sandy Rapids, AB.
