Lucrecia Queral Tarrangco

With grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Lucrecia Queral Tarrangco of Bonnyville, Alberta, formerly of Vancouver, BC, is saddened to announce her passing on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Affectionately called Mamang by all her family, she entered peacefully into rest at the age of 91. She was a wonderful mother who showed unconditional and unceasing love to her family. She also had many friends and a well-loved member of the senior’s community in Vancouver, BC.

Lucrecia is lovingly survived by her children: Willy (Mila) Tarrangco, Flordeliza Carlsen, Fe Tarrangco, Marilou (Blair) David, and Lea (Rowell) Del Rosario; grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jun-Jun, Richard, Carla (Ron), Krystina (Anthony), Mary Ann (James), Rhemwell, Amelie, and numerous cherished great grandchildren; nieces: Evelyn (Sonny) and their daughter Abigail, Merlyn (Steve) and their daughter Mickey (Parm), as well as many other extended family and friends in Vancouver, USA, and the Philippines.

Lucrecia was predeceased by her husband: Agrifino Tarrangco; parents: Atilano & Bernabela Valdez; sisters: Agripina, and Filomena.

Her family would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful staff at Bonnylodge for making her stay there a happy one. To all the doctors and nurses that attended to her at BHCC, our most heartfelt thanks for your expertise and loving kindness. We could not have asked for a better place for our mother to be in on her last days.
