Condolences

Condolence From: Debby Brosseau/McGinley
Condolence: We are sending out thoughts and prayers to all of the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of Uncle Fid. Although his passing was unexpected he left 90 years of memories for all of you to cherish.
I am glad that my Dad (Georges) was able to see him for his 90th birthday. He was able to live an active life for all of those 90 years and that is a true gift.
I have lots of memories of the kindness Uncle Fid showed to the city cousins when we came up to the lake for the summer. I'll always remember him asking if we wanted to ride on the Brosseau Stores float. Of course we did. It was a thrill for a little girl. And I remember him rescuing my 4 year old son when my Dad forgot him in the store. He was kind to so many people for decades.
Our deepest sympathy and prayers go to all of you.
Debby Brosseau/McGinley and family

Condolence: Sincere condolences to all the Brosseau family . The older generation were like a second family to me growing up in St. Paul and spending every summer at Moose Lake , witnessing the charm , kindness and devilish behaviour of Fid ; he was like an older brother to me. His brother John , my very dear friend , and I were part of his courting days with Laura and we spent a lot of time at his cabin. Will never forget him shooting bats coming out of his roof. Fond memories. R.I.P. Fid.

Condolence: It is with utmost respect that our sincere condolences are extended to all of the Brosseau clan. Fid was a proud Metis patriarch who will be sadly missed by many. He definitely left his mark in life during his time here with us all. His smile, his jokes and his teasing in Cree is to be fondly remembered as treasured memories. His legacy in the community is one of which will be spoken of and shared for years. Thank you to his family for sharing your father with all who knew him. God bless.
On behalf of the Metis Nation of Alberta and the Indigenous community who will truly miss Fid and his kindness, generosity and understanding. Rest in Peace, Fid.
