Condolences

Condolence From: David MacKenzie
Condolence: During my many summer vacations in Nova Scotia, Allan, although really a first cousin, was like a big brother. He was a few years older than me and had his own circle of friends but managed to "put up with me". I'm sure I was, at times, a real pest. But he put the worm on my hook when I thought it was too "icky". I learned a lot about cattle from him and Freda when I butted in on their 4-H projects. He taught me to tie a Windsor knot and every time I tie a tie to this very day I think of him. Later, when he worked in Halifax, he allowed me to visit and to join his circle of friends at a beach party. I felt so grown up. As adults, living far apart, we didn't connect very much but every so often we would chat, ether on the phone or when he travelled east or I travelled west. He occasionally sought my opinion on things...whether he agreed with me or not didn't really matter...it was enough to be asked. I will miss him profoundly.

Condolence From: Harrison & Laura Hull
Condolence: My heart aches after learning of the passing of my good friend and relative Allan! I will miss our motor coach talks as he was a mentor to me growing up! We both LOVED buses! I hope the many memories shared help all through this difficult time of sadness. Sending love and hugs from Ontario to all my western family! We lost a great one.
